WinTV-HVR-1800 MC-Kit includes the WinTV-HVR-1800 board and a Media Remote control:
The WinTV-HVR-1800 board is a single slot PCI Express board (full height) with two tuners: one for NTSC analog TV and one for ATSC digital TV. The WinTV-HVR-1800 also includes a high quality hardware MPEG-2 encoder, which is used to improve the performance when watching and recording analog cable TV.

The WinTV-HVR-1800 MC-Kit can be used to watch and record analog and ATSC digital TV in Windows Vista Premium and Vista Ultimate with Microsoft's Media Center application. The Media Center remote comes with a remote control, batteries, a USB remote receiver/transmitter box and a 36" IR transmitter cable to control the channels on your satellite or cable TV set top box.
Note: Vista Media Center does not currently support QAM TV. The WinTV-HVR-1800 board itself is QAM ready.
